Can some one tell me how to actually test the heat exchanger? I seen the procedure somewhere but I'm not seeing the actual test instructions for making sure the heat exchanger is good in the TS manual. Thanks..

This is what I do.
With the power off and water on, I pull the translucent (not the white) return tubing off the port on the heat exchanger. This is the port on the right front as viewed from inside the machine. I watch the port to see if any water is coming out. The only way water can come out of this port is if fresh water is leaking across the heat exchanger. I don't worry about a bubble. But if water drips out of the port, I count it as a failure.
I also check the inlet pressure regulator at the same time. I have found that if the pressure regulator is bad and allowing the pressure to spike when the machine is turned off, it can create heat exchanger leak problems.

Thank You for your help.. I new it had something to do with the hoses on the heat exchanger. I just couldn't remember the exact procedure. Thanks again..
