I've received word with confirmation that the 24 month PM is now fully approved and included in the IFU.
REMINDER: This is only for machines serial #233163 and above running 9.1E software.
As of right now, I have 85 machines that meet the criteria. This change will save my company about $6K/year in PM kits. Once all of our machines are turned over, that savings will be about $11K/year.
Now the fun part is going to be getting the surveyors to accept it. Hell, I just got them to accept annual PM's!

Side Note: You MUST have the NEWEST copy of the IFU ON HAND to operate at 24 month interval. Remember, the IFU is the document that allows someone to operate the machine in accordance with the IFU. If you only have the earlier version on hand, and some of your machines are beyond 12 months because you "switched" to 24 months, you are now out of compliance. Yes, the IFU has been approved and released, but unless you have a copy (and the CDROM disk that came with the machine is not the newest version), you must not switch to 24 month.

Ironically, basically the only thing the IFU says is to refer to the service manual! "Regular preventive maintenance (service) shall be performed at least every 12 months according to the specified check list in the service manual. This time period can be extended up to 24 months when certain requirements are fulfilled, according to the specified check list in the service manual and with reference to the instructions for use."

Old IFU: New IFU: Note the italicized text that CITES the authorization to extend the interval to 24 months. Therefore, if you only have the old IFU on hand, you do not have the proof to use the machine at the extended period. Emails are being sent out informing people how to download the new IFU.

Has anyone had issues with performing the software upgrade from 9.1b to E and having issues with bicarb ratio or low LF(condo) during citric thermal afterwards?

Has anyone had issues with performing the software upgrade from 9.1b to E and having issues with bicarb ratio or low LF(condo) during citric thermal afterwards? We didn't. I don't know if it would cause your issues but, are you sure the BC calibration was done correctly?

We have a few machines that were upgraded and they're all doing it. What calibrations is everyone doing after the upgrade? We tried calibrating all the conductivities and the LF stays up above 2 the whole time in citric thermal which is above the 1.5 i believe it has to stay above.

You can post a picture of the overview screen, but I'm thinking your issue is in 2.10

Make sure the Ratio values (2.10) are set for 27.3; 38; 33.7! Do you have TI 2021-03 DialogP SW 9.1E_EN pdf document? It is designed to assist you with the upgrade to 9.1E.

Yes we set all the ratios to those listed in the instructions which are the same as you listed above. Thanks for any help.
