To anyone who missed the news, Marcor has once again been bought/sold and will be leaving Cantel. Evoqua has purchased Marcor.

Marcor hasn't been the same since Bob Blum sold it to Minntech. It used to be that I didn't mind paying their higher prices because of their exceptional technical expertise and service. Now as long as pricing is reasonable, I buy from others whenever I can.

I have had nothing but good experiences with the CWP tech support over the years. Can't say the same for their pricing.
On the 4-yr PM, you could put a down payment on a Lexus for the cost of parts...

Marcor's support is f****** awesome. Best in the business.
Those part prices though.. I'll agree.. it's rough.
Hurts when I can buy a CWP overflow valve from Swagelok for 1/3 of the price that Marcor will resell the same damn part for.
Good luck to them on their new venture.

Evoqua was Siemens which was US filter. I know the East Rutherford branch of Siemens were awesome when they did dialysis still. The Syracuse branch had some really intelligent people but the techs were suspect after Tom left in the mid 2000's. I'm sure the staffing changed so not sure what it will look like now though.
