I'll have to get some eyeballs on one of those M12s, my Weller has been having a hard time getting hot lately.

I'm a pretty big Milwaukee fan and have a wide array of tools but this isn't in my arsenal. I don't have much of a use for it, but I do have a mighty need.

if your iron has trouble heating up maybe its your tip they should be replaced every year if the places you do your soldering has electricity chance are they also have an electrical outlet don't over complicate you life get the simplest and easiest to use iron

Milwaukee M12 soldering iron? I haven’t tried it yet but it’s worth a shot for portability. I have this and it works really well. I do agree with chuck about connecting wires though. The heat shrink connections are fast and easy.

The caulking gun.... and the framing nailer... and the chainsaw (m12 and m18)... I have a problem - send help!

I have an old Ungar. Most people don't even know what that is. I can solder anything from a microchip to a heat sink with my tips. Yes it plugs in, but I'm old fashioned. I don't care what anyone says.
