I have another machine 9.1B giving me the alarm stated above, sometimes before the treatment starts and sometime about 45 minutes into the treatment. It will let us clear it and will go away for a bit, but always comes back. I have changed ENDLF and BICLF and they both calibrate without issues. I checked my flow and degassing as well as temp sensor checks, conductivity function tests, and bicarb function tests. I did take a screenshot when the alarm occurred which I will attach. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Attachments:

At the very least, you need to calibrate the temp sensors. TSDE and TSDE_S are 5-6 degrees low. ENDLF is running 14.3 which is a sodium of about 144. Is that intentional?

Chuck
They were calibrated twice and no that isn't intentional, it's where it goes to when the machine alarms.

Like Chuck said calibrate TSDE,TSDE_S then see where you are at

Chuck They were calibrated twice and no that isn't intentional, it's where it goes to when the machine alarms. TSDE and TSDE_S are grossly out of calibration. They are reading very close to each other so I highly doubt one or both are bad. What final conductivity is the machine set for? If your machine isn't set for a final conductivity of around 14.3, that is another calibration problem of either the pumps or conductivity cells.

So, when I run test 1.11 my temps are very close but when I go to run a treatment TSDS and TSDE-S drop. What would cause this that I may be missing. Thanks Attachments:

Like Chuck said calibrate TSDE,TSDE_S then see where you are at Joey, thanks for the response. I did calibrate twice, check my last post out.

Maybe you're rushing the temp calibration. You have to be VERY patient waiting for the temps to stabilize.

Are you bypassing the balance chamber and hooking directly up from FBK1 to TSDE?

To make a very long story short, it ended up being an out of box failure of the bicarb sensor I installed.

I'm telling you what the tech who was at my clinic yesterday found wrong and corrected. I was told i couldn't reach 750 because it was sucking air and my tsde and tsde-s were low because it was in bypass. Admittedly I am new at the Braun and taking them for their word. I'm here for help and to learn, not argue and make people feel stupid.

You said nothing about there being air in your previous posts, that omission makes the possibilities a whole different ballgame. That said and while not impossible, I still doubt your original BICLF and a new out of the box one would have the same problem. To me, it sounds more like a tubing connection.

oh no, not another rash of bad brand new biclf's...ugh I had that issue when I first started! Drove me mad trying to learn to work on bbrauns;
how are the temps after the new, new part? The temp/condo calibrations on these babies is VERY involved but they're sensitive machines so makes sense
