I have a machine 9.1B which a nurse noticed had a clanking sound. After pulling it I found the dreaded black dust everywhere in the tubing.
FPE and FPA were taken apart and the magnets were shot so I changed them and then proceeded to change out all the filters. I ran a few heat citric cycles and rechanged the filters but I still hear the machine almost making a gurgling sound like it is not getting enough water. I am getting DF Pressure test will be rerun alarm as well as a on and off emptying of upline tank not possible alarm and VBIC test not ok alarm.
Not sure which way to turn with this one. TIA for any suggestions where to beging. The machine was fine till magnets broke.

Check filter at upline tank again, could be blocked. possible damage to degas pump from magnet debris. check that pipes on fpe and fpa were not connected incorrectly if removed.

I have had the same issues, there were manufacturing problems(FPA & FPE) with specific serial numbers. I replaced the pumps and clean the tubes.
In your case, DF pressure stops at which step? LLC code I mean, and the PDA pressure readings in this step.

I would start with the emptying of the upline tank problem. The level sensor likely collected some of the dust and is making the machine think the tank isn't empty when it really is. When we had this issue, it was suggested to tape a couple strong magnets to filters inside the machine and run it in rinseout for a couple hours. After doing this, change those filters.

The pumps should be replaced completely (excluding the motor)

Trompie and Chuck. For my own knowledge, why replace everything? I'm just doing what tech support told me. I have no issue doing that, would just like to know why? Thanks!

Chances are that the magnet dust damaged the gears and/or bearing sleeves also. Just something to keep in mind when troubleshooting this machine, it theoretically could cause valve issues too because of the solenoids.
