Does anyone here work for a hospital or company that does pediatric hemodialysis?

Chuck. We do patients 30kg or more on Braun and Fresenius machines. What about those under 30 kg? The University hospital here is not happy using something "off label". If I remember correctly, the "T" is approved for 25 kg and over.

If it is an emergency, we will use one of the original K machines I have or we will send them to CHOP.

The Fresenius Bluestar manual states the following:
"Additional therapy options...low volume hemodialysis (patients weighing >20kg and <40kg)"
"The 2008T Bluestar Hemodialysis Machine is not to be used for plasma replacement therapies, for patients weighing less than 20 kg, or for renal therapies using substitution fluid."
If you're using this machine on anyone <20kg it would be off label.
