I was running a disinfect and was looking for leaks when I looked down at FEP (filter going to EP) and saw the line and the filter coming out of the block totally clogged with these little buggers! Thank god for that filter! Nearly uniformly sized red bits of plastic with a hole in them. Harder than wiring insulation and thicker too. I can't for the life of me figure out where they came from or how they got in there! I have been having disinfect issues with this machine; I replaced ep, calibrated pe with 5 points, then replaced all 3 dbk block tubing connectors as 2/3 started to leak (also replaced disk/spring in dbk). During disinfect it would drop temp from 90 to 40 and not flow. I then replaced the heater, that's when I saw this. I didn't look inside the water block when replacing the heater and there wasn't anything like this on it...it's a lot of these pieces too. I'm about to take the lid back off and try to see how much more is in there. Any ideas? *added* haven't seen these things anywhere but that one location either Attachments:

Those beads are in the water block, it’s sealed in there but it’s the “degassing chamber”. Your water block may have cracked and it’s letting them out now

This machine is kicking my ass

Womp! But yes, it’s definitely from that, so I would suggest changing the water block totally. Sorry dude!
