T Machine with a Conductivity Low error while conductivity is within range. The bottom parameter line blinks off and on during this error. Has anyone seen this before?

At the beginning of treatment there is a delay in the software that waits for the conductivity to stabilize. Is this during treatment or at the beginning of the machine coming up in cond?

eric, this is during treatment. Machine will run fine for a while then all of a sudden, alarm goes off even though conductivity is within range. What I did notice during that time, pre-conductivity cell on debug screen 0 reads 0 when this is happening. Making me think that it's a possible bad cell or acid pump.

In looking at the picture, I don't see a yellow bar for the lower alarm limit. Am I missing something? Shouldn't there be a yellow bar at 13.1?

Looks like he said its blinking on and off...... just didnt catch the picture when it was on......? Can you get it to happen when you are testing or just when patients are on? Sounds like you are on the right track with the cond cell or a frayed wire......

Replaced both conductivity cells, a known working acid pump, and conducted a balancing chamber leak test and it all passed. Tested twice and it passed all tests. Was tested again today for good measure and we're back to square one. Still has the same alarm and conductivity drops to 10 now and stays there.

Is this on a jug or loop?
Is there still cond. on debug screen 0 or is it 0 on debug........?

Have you taken a sample from the drain hose to see if the conductivity is actually low or if it's a monitor problem? What do the pre and pos cells read on the debug screen? Do they agree?

Pre-conductivity is normal for a while then drops to 10.0. Post-conductivity cell reads normal. Normal as in 13.6-13.7. Double checked diaphragms on balancing chamber and no rips found. Installed new ones anyways for good measure. Will be swapping boards when I get back to the facility.

Could have a 'bad out of box' pre cond sensor........... I would try one more new on the pre just to make sure......... otherwise i wonder if the distribution board has a bad connection........ Sorry for the frustration.......

Always check deaeration/loading pressures before jumping to the next step with conductivity issues. That solves the issues there

have you called techservices if you have a bad cond cell out of the box they can send you another for free
