I have a question about which board controls the heparin pump. I have been looking at the block diagrams (really wish they would come out with real schematics), I have not found the heparin pump on there. I keep getting alarms even though I have put a known good pump and cable in there. Distribution connection look's good. Any ideas would help.

The Heparin pump on FMC K machine has a small board on it. And the heparin line must be prime to get the air out of the line. I have had to tell nurses to prime your heparin line. And you can try and see if the H pump is working by doing a bolus from the dialysis screen with no lines or syringe. Just put an amount in the bolus window and press confirm pump should start to work. If not make sure in service mode h pump is enable.

I have had alarms on those heparin pumps and the easiest thing to try first is tightening down the screws on gear component of the pump. I've only had one case where that did not fix the problem.

I definitely agree regarding "real" schematics, they used to provide them many moons ago. I asked an RES this exact same question and they weren't sure either, we're thinking probably the actuator board, but don't know for sure.

I would start with the actuator board.
Probably won't help you but I had a pump that kept giving me alarms and it turned out there was some gritty sand like substance in the threads causing the problem. Took it apart, cleaned it up and put it back together and all is good.
