Here is the best I can determine from your pictures. It looks like somebody put short hoses on the valves, so they could flush the valves before connecting ROs. It looks like you have no schedule for flushing the valves or the hoses. I would change the hoses because they look horrible. It looks like black algae, fungus, or who knows what is in there? There are no specific guidelines I can find for that hose except for the general recommendation to keep things clean and not promote the growth of microorganisms.

Do you know if there is an air gap in your box? It looks like the discoloration of the drain hose could be caused by the fact that it is always curved at the same place. In any case, I would trim it back simply because it looks bad.

If I were conducting a survey of your dialysis operation, I would ding you because the rust and crud in your boxes makes it look like those boxes are not being maintained.
