Good morning everyone. I'm sure its ok but I would like other opinions. I have a bluestar machine with a blood pump module(40008688) that needs repair. I have a good working used T machine blood pump module(M30656) that I can use in the meantime. I've already checked the arterial pressure and the blood pump speed. Is it compatible? Or ok to use the T blood pump in the bluestar for the weekend as a backup??

This is actually dependent upon the software version on the blood pump module. When you turn the machine on it will display on the module what software it has.
1.11 is no good for a bluestar 1.12 is good for either
what is the actually issue with the module? You might be able to swap just the motors and be good. This wont work for an art BP no comm though or arterial pressure issue

I was at an acute unit, blood pump alarming A-11, not moving, and the only other module around was the blood pump(M30656), for a quick change. Thanks for your input. When I turned the machine on, the blood pump read 1.11, so no good in bluestar.

A.11 is pump not reaching speed, which could just mean swap motors around or if your lucky enough to have rebuildable one put new brushes on it.
