2008T Fresenius blue star machine 30182 hours. Keep getting a blood leak message on machine. I calibrated and replaced the detector. Didn't get pulled for a week and now its back here again. At this point is this a board issue?

When I attended the Fresenius troubleshooting class, the instructor said that this problem could be caused by a defective blood leak detector assembly or the sensor board.

I guess I will try the sensor board as I already tried the blood leak assembly. Thanks.

Staff pulled it Thursday. I put in the sensor board and it had no issues. So I guess that fixed it.

I had blood leak alarms that would come and go. Turns out that there was a pin hole leak under the boot on tone blood leak detector. Every once in a while a drop or two would get on the light/sensor and cause an alarm. So check for moisture around the glass tube.

also when checking sensor board try the cable first and try the board in t/c mode
