Any clues on how to change this part. Staff is already breaking off the horizontal hook.

You have to take off the "knob" of the clamp from the front of the machine then there are 3 screws on the inside that you have to attack on any angle to get out and back in again. One of the screws hold a tab of the cover of the SAD board, that tab usually doesn't get secured again.
Don't forget to set the line clamp gap correctly. Probably the hardest part will be getting the staff from yanking the line out and breaking them in the first place.

Older machines used Hex head screws, so a Ball Hex wrench was fine to loosen and tighten to four screws holding the plastic part. However, the newest machines now use Torx head screws. Unfortunately, a ball Torx bit typically costs about $25-35. What I have found that works just a good is a two inch, impact wrench, Torx bit. The narrow shaft allows you to get closer to the magnet, which improves the angle of attack to get the bit into the head of the screw. I don't use T-Handle bits, because for traveling, I try to minimize the number of tools I carry.

Agreed with SrCusEngr - although those ball end torx are a life saver. I have them in the 1/4" drive impact bit like above and they are fantastic.
