Having issue getting my weekly auto-on to work on a machine I upgraded from 9.1b to 9.1E. All settings are exact with other machines that havent been upgraded yet. Anyone else having this issue? Also, does anyone know the difference between "start on Monday" and "Start on Sunday" not sure what the point of those buttons are since you program the exact days and times and kind of disinfect you want. Machines have always come on in early AM before staff get here to start rinsing but this one machine does not turn on even though its set to exactly same as other machine's settings. And yes, went through all other channels first before asking this. including reading any available literature from Braun.

Go to the disinfection screen but don't select a disinfect mode. Press the RED clock at the bottom. You can program the Auto On time for each day here. You can also chose if you want the machine to rinse or whatever when it turns on. The screen is pretty easy to figure out. You will have to disinfect the machine the first time for it to Auto Off.

I went in to TSM and used "weekly schedule" and you can set the days of the week and the time and the method of disinfection, in this case we just want rinsing. Then when you click on the red clock at bottom that information is already there. It shows it is going to wake up at 3:45 on "X" day and do a rinsing but unfortunately it never turns on. The whole 9.1E upgrade was kinda buggy so im just going to keep trying I think it will work eventually. The first day I installed the upgrade it would not let me change one of the ABPM settings either it was grayed out. But the next day I worked with it the selection was no longer grayed out and I was able to change the setting just fine. Its frustrating Im glad I just did one upgrade first before doing anymore.

Ahhh! The differences software makes. There is a different clock function for the weekly schedule than the Automatic Startup schedule. In essence, the Automatic Startup Schedule (where you use the RED and BLUE icons in the disinfection screen to program events) used a clock timing like we are useful. The day starts at 00:00 and ends at 23:59. The weekly schedule, and this is important for anyone trying to program their machine to sync with heated loop disinfections, has to remember the following (this is an example):
1. Loop Disinfection is from 9 PM to 11 PM on TUESDAY.
2. The Dialog must be set as follows (in the weekly schedule): Select WEDNESDAY; start time for Central Thermal as 22:00. After programing, a note will appear that the action will take place TUESDAY NIGHT!
3. Loop Disinfection is from 2 AM to 4 AM on TUESDAY.
4. The Dialog must be set as follows (in the weekly schedule): Select TUESDAY; start time for Central Thermal as 02:00. After programing, a note will appear that the action will take place TUESDAY MORNING!

In this case I'm not trying to do anything that complex. The machines are all setup in weekly(not automatic weekly) so that they come on at 3:45 automatically for the staff and start rinsing. Then all they have to do is back them out to program selection screen and start dialysis mode. At the end of the day once you hit the citric-thermal disinfect button, you hit the red clock and then hit activate. In the message box that pops up when you hit the red clock it shows you the next day and time its going to start up and perform a rinse. This works flawlessly on the other non-updated machines but for some reason the updated machine never turns on in morning even though the message box the day before showed it would when you hit the red clock. The 3:45 and the disinfection type(in this case rinsing) are all next to the sun on the weekly schedule just like all of them at the clinic.

You say your previous version machines are working but you 9.1E are not doing what you want! Did you do a side-by-side comparison check? I would look at the Disinfection programing. By habit, 9.1Es are set up using the Automatic Start Up (Left side of screen with Red and Blue icons) because 9.1E allows you to program that in TSM. Earlier versions only allowed you to program in the Disinfection screen.
By chance, is the Blue ball icon 'grey' background in the disinfection screen? If so, press it. Does it say Program STOPPED? Does it offer you the choice to "Start program"?
See if the above helps.
