I have seen conductivity of 10 microsiemens and 90% rejection rate limits used at a few facilities, but I can't locate exactly where these standards arise from. The manufacturer? AAMI? Just trying to get a handle as noone seems to know how they came to be in use.

The % Rejection is from AAMI RD52 and is what CMS uses as regulation.
For conductivity, there is no recommendation or regulation. Many facilities set the limit to 2X the conductivity of when the RO was new. Through YEARS of testing (I've been doing this for 44 years), we have found that even at a conductivity of 50 uS, we were still producing AAMI quality water so that is what we set as our limit.
