This is a Dialog + with Adimea Kt/v sensor that for calculating and monitoring for adequate therapy. First time I have seen this alarm. Is there any fix or does the whole Adimea Kt/v board have to be replaced? It’s an older machine with almost 30,000 hours on it. Was fine when I pulled it for annual pm. Adimea calibration error occurred during simulated therapy.

<carl> Without knowing the specifics of the alarm, but seeing that you have 30k hours, I suspect the UV diode current capacity has become exhausted. You can determine if this is correct by checking the Adimea in TSM.
When new, you can command the Adimea module to go through a self check (the same self check performed just before a patient is connected) and the result will show a current value for the transmitter diode (usually about 3000 uamps) and a reserve of ~6000 or more. As time passes, that reserve value gets smaller until there is insufficient current to support the diode. That is when it dies. So you got 30K hours of service. I would call that very good.
