I work for Fresenius and I have a Aqua B system which is about 4 years old. I have noticed when disinfecting the PsP1 gauge located at the bottom of cabinet 2.. I have noticed it is showing 1bar and looking back at my past disinfection it was 2-2.5bars. It is actually flagging when I complete my TMS pm work order. I just wanted to get a little education on the pressure gauge and what may be causing the pressure decrease. I really don't want to call Fresenius since there is so much red tape on getting any answers. Thanks..

Sorry for the late response. The gauge is actually tied into the RO. So there isn't a pre-filter or anything. The gauge is pretty steady so I don't think it's the gauge.

<biomedfossil> How is it tied to the RO? Product output? A little detail can improve our response. Check the flow diagram, and give us some insight?

it's a sign that membranes are fouling/clogging up You can try to do the citric acid clean before your disinfect It may help ...if not the only way to get the pressure back up is replace membranes

Just to clarify, he is talking about a Fresenius Aqua B and not a B. Braun Aqua Boss.
