Hello everyone, I am on a machine that has 19k hours and is on bibag. This machine initially had a float switch replacement which resolved the first flow error i had. During a pm a week later I was not able to callibrate degas pressure and loading pressure. Loading pressure would move but whenever i change the dac for the deaeration motor, my gauge would always stay at -28. I have replaced the dearation motor, replaced the float switch, replaced smashed wires. It still would not let me callibrate and then all of a sudden it snapped out of it. i should note that I was having a problem where i could not get bicarb cond 2 high to go away and it went away by replacing the bibag hydraulic assembly, however it came back again and I cannot callibrate degas/loading and when i tried to calibrate bicarb condocell, it took over 2 hours and the machine took in a small amount of bicarb and would not finish the callibration

Are you sure your gages are good? They should be sitting at 0 when not hooked up and you should be reading them vertically for the most accurate reading.
If your dear pressure is that high, I would look at your restriction orfice on the bottom of the hydroblock. Never encountered this, but my first thought is that might be clogged.

Gauges are good, they start at 0 and I am reading them vertically. I also tried gauges from some fellow biomeds and the issue was the same only on this machine. I placed an order for an orfice and should recieve it today which is where I left off in the TS book.

could the loading pressure diaphragm be stuck ? very common .... Also when you replaced the old float switch did you leave any old pieces of the old float switch in the chamber ? the clip and float will usually be at the bottom of the chamber and you have to fish them out . (did it come out in one piece )? I could see where this could be an issue. in 11 years I've never had a restriction orfice be clogged but i guess its possible.. Good luck bud let us know .....

Sheepdog1 has a point. Is it possible something fell into the hydrochamber when you removed the old float switch? That would explain the high deaeration pressure and having it "snap out of it".
I wouldn't worry about the bicarb until you get the deaeration problem fixed.

Float switch came out in one piece, and loading pressure valve was replaced. The hard part is that I left the machine alone for the weekend and everything went back to normal again... I'll keep you all posted

I cant tell what it was or where it came from but it definitely has fixed the issue. I appreciate everyone's help.
