How do I remove the pin on the clamp of the optical sensor? Does not seem to budge and not much room to get a tool on it. I do have to remove the pin in order to replace the sensor.
The pin unscrews. Over time and sometimes rough handing, I've had the pins break. I haven't had much luck in getting the rest of the pin out of the clamp, so I just replace the clamp and add a new pin.
I have always put the end of a pick in the bottom of the pin and *gently* tapped it out of the top until I could grab it with something.
It takes some practice to not break the pin off or crack the housing...Thinking Dave74's idea is the way to go from now on. Probably faster in the long run!
