Hey all, New to the forum and completely new to Braun machines. I had a tech pull a machine today for blood detected in Prep/disinfection. How would I go about figuring out what the issue is? I'm running it now in dialysis therapy and the machine has passed all tests without issues? Any ideas would much appreciated!

There have been issues with SOME Streamlines being just a little too tinted and the SAD thinks it sees blood. If it starts happening on other machines too this is probably the problem.
That said, SAD's do go bad....
Try calibrating the SAD. If the problem comes back, replace it.

You can verify if this is the issue by moving the streamline tubing “up higher on the door” so to speak to get a different “area” of tubing if you feel it’s cloudy looking.
