Good day all,

I have a version 9 machine that originally gave me a white screen, turned out to be the mother board.
Once I have that problem fixed going to check out the machine I got a Sound and LED test failure. looking over the threads on here found some good info I tried a new speaker first, no avail, then I changed the FPB same result, next I switched the SMPS same results. Next I swapped the digital board with a working machine same results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

<kts> When you changed out the motherboard, did you put the external speaker plug back into the new board socket correctly? Depending on your version machine, the connector may have two wires or 5 wires. But it is absolutely important that the sound out pin goes to the proper wire. Double check with the motherboard diagram in the service manual.
