Hello,
I have a BS machine with bibag and has about 24k... I accidentally ruined the EEPROM in the functional board and thus I have to recalibrate everything and when I am calibrating the temp control option 2 (slow flow, temp comp) it always fails, I have tried so many times it fails message being cannot get the temperature stable.
What I have replaced so far making this machine worked from previous problems, bibag module, cfs 9 and 10, new brushes for daeration and flow. Tried a working sensor, functional, power logic and actuator boards and newer cables. I have done this using the wall and jugs and no progress.
So far the only thing that I have done is calibrate the acid and bicarb, daeration and flow pressures. I tested the heater and Ohm test it and it is 11.9, stating that it is good, well according to the TS manual if the heater is in this range 8-13 it is ok.
Any ideas what is causing this to not calibrate the temperature?

I've seen this caused by your flow pump head. You can try replacing that and seeing if you get a more stable temperature.
I can't speak to whether the EEPROM would have caused this, but I know a few biomeds who would swap the dear/flow heads when they couldn't get the pressures they needed. We ended up with temp cal issues like this down the road because of it. Correlation does not always mean causation, I suppose.

does it fail after entering the first temp? or is the alarm "pre/post temp out of range"? i have a similar issue and am curious about the fix.

Have you tried calibrating the temp control with slow flow and temp comp off first?

Usually I get a message that says unstable pressure. Re-calibrate your temp sensors, than try again and if the issue persists I'd replace all the NTC's and try again. I had this issue with the updates.

at 24 k hours i would also check your NTC 2, 3 7 for flaking off insulation and also is ntc call ing for voltage
