I have seen this numerous times in my life on K's and T's, but it has ALWAYS been the Reed switch. That being said:
I have a T BS (about 8k hrs) that was having a confirmation cell not reading. Turned out the cell wasn't the problem so I swapped a Sensor Bd. THAT problem went away but now it says "Concentrate Connected?" when you hit Dialysis. Just for S&Gs I tried the old board and it still had the message...AND the conf. cell didn't read again. Swapping boards back, the conf cell was fine but the message is STILL there. **Edit: Forgot to add that I DID try another Reed switch to no avail**
Normally, I always approach these things like "What did *I* do?", but there is really not much between the Reed and Sensor Bd.
Tech Supt says that it could be Function/Actuator/EEPROM as well. On a machine with this few hrs tho?
That's why I figured I would use a Shout Out (for any Ben Bailey fans).

What does your debug screen read for ACIOUT? Does it respond as it should for the connector in or out?
Is it possible you caused a problem with one of the cables?
Doesn't the function board process the information from the Reed switch?

You can flip the sensors from acid to bic on the distribution board, use the Debug screens and see if the issue follows the sensor. If it follows the sensor then it may be your wand, the hydraulics may not be in enough for good contact. If it doesn't follow the sensor, it's an unfortunate follow the path of signal. 8t0s were known to have motherboard issues with oddball sensor issues around here. Everything BiBag has seen feedback issues from the little board in the tan BiBag box and PT#9 if all else fails. If you find it please post, have a better week!

I didn't forget to post, I just haven't worked on that machine again yet...sorry I'm just looking for resolutions for my future problems. I get 2 or 3 hours every 3rd or 4th day to work on my problem children. I get it!
