Here's a weird one. Had a 2008T bluestar premium popping the outlet during the 1st minute of rinse. The nurse was telling me to call an electrician out to look at the outlet, lmao. Followed the troubleshooting guide and found out it was the heater bar. Weird thing was that it ohm'ed out okay and when I pulled it out there was no sign of damage. Replaced it and no problems since. I know the pm sheet says we are not required to check the heater bars anymore for the bluestars but I still do, mostly out of habit and it takes 5 seconds to ohm it. Had a lot of bad heater bars in these machines. I really think it should still be required.

kevinth1985: Your heater bar has two hot wires and a safety ground. Am I correct? And I'll bet that on a new heater bar, there is no continuity between either hot wire (L and N) and the safety ground. The question I have is what popped? A ground fault interrupter circuit or a breaker on the panel? Just wondering?
