A couple things. I tend to use a tool backpack and don't carry what I don't need. - Long needle nose pliers with a 90 degree tip. For taking off hose clamps. - #2 screwdriver with a nice rubber grip. Klein makes nice stuff. The grip is nice for any screwdrivers but the #2 is used the most. - 17mm combo wrench for rinse port nuts. - 1/4" Socket driver with a 7mm and 10mm sockets. - Small side cutters

I like the commutator cleaning stone from McMaster-Carr gets the motors clean without removing any copper also a pliers with a narrow nose to undo the acid bicarb concentrate plugs, and a pliers made for use with those wire cleamps

What do you guys use for the deaer and flow motor when trying to get to the commutator but the dang bearing is stuck? Been looking at bearing pulls but the hooks on them seem too big to fit in the small starting gap that is there most times.

I generally sit it upright, put a few dabs of 3:1 on the spot where the shaft meets the bearing, and let it sit a while. If it doesnt come out with a few taps then I'll exchange/replace the motor. The motor shields that H&S sells have been pretty solid at keeping water off those motors. H&S PN 39006 www.hstsvc.com/static/media/H&SMotorShieldInstallationInstructions.4a6e26d2.pdf

Klein makes a slim profile mini ratchet (grainger part number: 60KN82) it is fantastic for removing the keyboards on T machines without removing boards or taking down the monitor. It will easily loosen the screw that's inline with the power logic board. Once loose, I use just the bit in my fingers to remove it the rest of the way.

I’m not one to throw parts at something but what is the cost benefit. What is the loss of time trying to make it work and how is it compared to the loss of function. I only replace a couple of pumps a year, my budget can afford that.

Do you happen to know where you got it from or if it is the 1ton or 2ton size? It's hard to gauge how big they really are looking at Grainger. Thanks.

Something that I find helpful, I think it will only work for BigF accounts, is the 'Lists' option on Grainger. You can save favorites for easy reorder, things for the future, or things you wish you could get haha. If you save your list as public, other Biomeds can look at it and save things from it. I randomly check out what others have saved and often save things from their lists. There are times that I have had a hard time finding something because Grainger called it something weird and have found it in a list. If someone wanted to maintain it, one could be made for helpful biomed tools and add suggestions from this thread. The pic shows where to access/create it and you add to it from the item description page, right hand side.
