Have calibrated venous pressure multiple times.I have disinfected machine and return to service.Came back with the problem fails optical detector.Noticed venous was back on 10.Why is venous pressure not staying at zero after I calibrated it and is that responsible for optical detector failing? Thanks!

could be a bad variable pot on your board calibrate it again, to be sure also check your pot by adjusting it and measuring the resistance

Venous pressure is not related to optical sensor ... Check if the venous pressure internal transducer is wet . If optical sensor fail again, it could be faulty sensor .
Check the ribbon cabling if they are inserted properly.

I believe you are incorrect on this, bimitiri. If the venous pressure is off, the machine will fail optical detector. That is why the machine will fail optical detector if someone hooks up the monitor lines before the machine has completed test.

Dave is correct, the venous pressure must be able to reach 0 for the test to pass. It's one of the reasons why we can't test the machine with transducer protectors connected. The machine will have a value other than 0 and fail optical detector. Every once in a while staff complain of this failure. I walk out on the floor and tell them to disconnect the transducer protectors, they pass every time.

swap out the level detector module with a known good one your optical detector may be bad

Could possibly be bad optical detector or LP board. If the machine is new and still under warranty call FMC for replacement of optical or LP. I had a T machine with 2k hours with this issue and it ended up being the LP board after module and board swap troubleshooting. Also, found that if Ven pressure is +/-20, optical detector will fail.
There was a voltage/wave calibration that was posted on RenalWeb a long time ago but I can't seem to recall how it was done unfortunately. I know it was mainly based on the use of a oscilloscope and if you didn't have one; you could adjust based on voltage. Maybe someone else here can post that up here if they remember it.

we where going to do that electronic calibration until they found out to get the correct oscilloscope would cost 4K
