We have it. We just don't use it. If the Adimea data would flow into our EMR, I really think it would be a useful tool. I think we are too cheap to pay for the interface needed to collect it in our EMR.

I think it is used a lot, maybe not as often in the US as in the rest of the world. I have heard that there will be an improvement of the ADIMEA. I dont know in which way they are going, but pretty sure there is something to come.

qman, correct me if I'm wrong....
I think the problem is that the information doesn't cross over if you are using the DCI protocol that comes with the machine. If you want more than just the basic information to cross, you have to buy the module (I forget the name) that will allow the information to cross. This is what I was told when we were trying to get the MAP to cross over. If I remember correctly, the cost was about $600/machine.

We use the Adimea feature, but I believe Braun only releases a certain amount of the supporting programming in Germany.

I'd be interested to see what they have to say as well. We use Infian so it is definitely pertinent if we purchase Bbraun machines next.
