I’veChange the display on a blue star T machine and after I hooked up everything back to run it in dialysis mode. I got a acid pump no EOS display and then I called tech-support and they told me to switch my bicarb and acid pump ribbon cables, of which I did and they stated that if I did that and the alarm followed the ribbon cable on the distribution board that it was the pump if it did not then it was the pump but if it followed the ribbon cable then it was a board so I change the pump because it followed it. I called them back and they stated that didn’t work and I was still getting the same error code. I made sure that all my connections were correct by opening up another known good machine and following the configuration of that machine to no avail. Please help with troubleshoot anything will help and o don’t think any questions or comment is stupid thank you for anything. Very frustrated

It can sometimes be tricky when you switch cables or connectors. What alarm appeared when you switched connectors? Was it acid pump no EOS or bicarb pump no EOS?

The acid pump eos remained after I switched lines and acid pump was changed also and alarm remained. I was told it should be sensor board?? I ohmed out heater rod and got in dialysis mode 5.9-6.9 but that was just on distribution board I did not unscrew from distribution board to check the resistance should I do that? It just change sensor board? Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I just wanted to be sure I am reading your post correctly because things can get confusing. If you switched the acid and bicarb connections and you continued to get an acid pump alarm, the problem wouldn't be the pump. The problem would have to be somewhere from the connection and on into the circuit boards. A possible culprit and easy to change is the actuator/test board.

for future reference when you get a EOS error and it is the pump 99% of the time it is due to over compression when rebuilding the pump if the eos error is not the pump try the actuator board as this contains the drivers for the pumps

I will be trying that next just waiting on board to arrive. The pump was brand new from FMC and I still had same error message and making same noise as well, did the same with bicarb and acid again and same error message so I'm pretty sure it is board problem the crazy thing is why? All I did was change display placed back in same spots it was before because I took pics of where everything was suppose to be placed that's why I know it couldn't/shouldn't be the way it was installed just reinstalled same way I took off or could it? again thank you for the help it has provided a vast amount of knowledge to me thank you sir.
