I have 2 machines that have high flow errors in dialysis mode at 500 flow rate.If I change the rate to 800 it goes away.(during treatment). I've rebuilt both motors.Loading pressures good. Same problem when they are back in the unit. These are bluestar T machines with only 7 thousand hrs. I have noticed that I am having to increase my DACs on the dearation motors.

you should check all your deairation pressures at about 6-7 k you will need to tweak them all, also high flow is on your secondary side everything downstream of the balancing chamber

let it come up to conductivity... let the machine run for at least an hour and look at FLWP... What is the DAC for FLWP at an 800 flow rate. It should be around 160. What i see with the bluestar is the DAC value is dropping after you let it run which increases the flow rate through the flow motor(the lower the number the more it flows). When it gets to about 100-120 you will see a high flow alarm, then low flow alarm and high TMP. The only fix i've found so far is to change the teflon gear head on the flow motor. I've heard that if you change pressure transducer 9 it helps it but i haven't had any success with that. Hope this helps.

Try tightening the screw on the pump head itself if you already have not tried that. Then you may be able to decrease the DAC also. Give it a go.

In some cases, this can be caused by a tear in the BC Membranes. It seems unlikely (at 7000 hrs), but you never know....

Most people just call them CFS. It refers to the pressure transducers located at 9 and 10 on the distribution board. #9 is the dialysate pressure transducer and #10 is the CFS pressure transducer. CFS stands for Chamber Full Switch.
