Sad to see the tech forum on Renalweb has been closed down for good. Been a help for many years. I'm hoping to spread the word to help this site grow.

Admin, I'm an old retired biomed, but still enjoyed the renalweb site as I enjoyed keeping abreast of the industry. A few days ago, I learned that site had been closed down. Sad to see it go. Today I was looking for other options and found this site. Just joined and am happy to see some familiar folks here. Thanks for hosting this site, I like the work you've done here.

Admin, I'm an old retired biomed, but still enjoyed the renalweb site as I enjoyed keeping abreast of the industry. A few days ago, I learned that site had been closed down. Sad to see it go. Today I was looking for other options and found this site. Just joined and am happy to see some familiar folks here. Thanks for hosting this site, I like the work you've done here.
If I can ask....How did you find us? Google, Facebook,?? We're trying to get the word out so knowing how we are found could be a big help. |

Hi Chuck,
I went to the old site for a check-in and found it was down. Did a quick search on Google. Forgot the verbiage of the search, end result, I wound up here. I must say it's so good to see so many of the old gang here. BTW, we met at NANT back 20 something. Good seeing you here my friend.

How do I tell others how to find this site? I found it through renalweb before it shut down, When I googled dialysis tech support, all that came up was the Renalweb.

I think it's safe to say that everyone was sorry to see the RenalWeb Forums close and to lose the decades of information that was posted there.
That said, I think this one is taking off rather nicely. I don't know if everyone can see the stats at the bottom of the main page or not but....
In roughly 3 weeks, we have 123 registered members.
Over 300 posts.
And in the last 24 hours, 374 "Guest" visitors.
I also want to remind everyone that this is a community and we want input and suggestions from everyone to improve this site. If you have any ideas, send them to myself or Admin. If a suggestion is possible and felt to be useful, our Admin has no qualms about making changes. I hope that one day he can come out from behind the curtain and take a bow for what he's built for us.

You are correct about the Guest visitors and the numbers of growing active accounts. Maybe if we hit a milestone with active accounts and become more active with posts I’ll say who i am.
Anyone want to poll a good number of registered members and posts to make it happen? Maybe an incentive to get this place moving a bit more.
