I don't necessarily mean employer, but rather facility type. For example, I currently work at a large metropolitan hospital in the Biomedical Engineering Dept although I have also "moonlighted" at smaller independent dialysis clinics. I'm just curious how many of us here are hospital BMETs vs BMETs/Technical staff for dialysis clinics like DCI, Fresenius, DaVita, etc. There are a whole host of differences in the day to day responsibilities between the two.

Not registered so it wont let me take the poll. CBET and CHWS. No direct raise but it allowed a promotion with a raise.

Bonnet CHBT. Thinking about going back for water certification. I didn't get a raise for getting certified but it made me eligible for a promotion which I was able to attain.

Got my CHBT certification November '22. I am taking the CHWS test to hopefully be certified for that as well in February '23. I got a 2% raise for getting my first certification, and another 2% raise when I hopefully pass my CHWS test. These certifications are also prerequisites for being considered for Biomed III positions in my area.
