Machine is failing TMP, Optical Detect, Neg Pressure. Have replaced deaeration motor, all boards, pump head, deaeration valve, have good pressures throughout machine. Cannot figure this one out. Takes a long time to get the neg TMP at beginning of tests. I am stumped.

I actually think the manual is pretty good on this one. Since you say it takes a long time to get TMP, the manual suggests checking the UF pump to see if the pulses are strong. The UF pump causes the TMP to increase. If the UF pump is OK, the manual describes how to best check for a leak. Those are the first two things I would check.

Dude i have went through the whole manual no fix. UF pump is calibrating fine. I have no leaks anywhere. I dont understand. I have also put a new air seperator on and Transducer #9 several valves, ect

Also this machine sometimes leaks out of the vent tube during a rinse. It also has a new float switch and heat exchanger. I have replaced so much on this machine.

Will it pass the self-test with the shunt door open? If so start looking at V24, V25, V26, bulk head fittings at the back of the hydraulics, dialysate lines, and o-rings inside the Hansen connectors.

No it will not pass with shunt door open

when it comes up to conductivity is condo stable? If so what is the TMP reading? is it high(negative) or low(positive)? Have you tried a new Diasafe Filter?
. Check TMP High TMP=top of the screen(negative) = stuck open BC valve on spent side Low TMP = Bottom of screen or Positive= stuck open BC Valve on fresh side If you suspect a leaking BC Valve then run the leak test. Rinse machine before running test Spent side checks 1. Put dialysate connectors into a bucket of water. 2. Plug flow pump into deaer spot 3. Plug valve 36 into Valve 33 check flow rate at end of drain hose 4. Plug valve 38 into valve 33 check flow rate at the drain 5. Should be equal amounts over the same time of capture. Whats left to check is Diasafe and CFS switch

also check the calibration of your arterial display and your venous display the valve leak test only will fail if valve is sticking open it will pass if the valve is stuck closed

I understand the UF pump calibration is good, which is not an indicator of it having a microleak of some kind. Even if it passes the "spit" test, it may still be bad. Trust me, I came across this last year. I had to get a new UF pump and it solved the TMP/Neg press test failures.
Swap the UF pump with a known good one if you haven't done it; just give it a go. Check your loading pressure and flow relief valve body for leaks as well.

We just had one with the same symptoms and it was Dialysate Pressure Transducer #9.

Still haven't figured this one out. This machine takes a super long time to get Neg TMP at beginning of tests. I am stumped on this one.

could the uf pump diaphragm be leaking? did you check your bc valves? tried induced positive pressure test to see if you can find a leak?

Is the new transducer #9 a different Rev. than the one you had in there before? If I remember right Rev.A are pretty unreliable.

possible to have two separate issues? or your condo is fluxing? optical detector can fail if your transducers left on arterial/venous pressure ports. Try a different module or recalibrate your pressures (venous/arterial). optical detectors do go bad from time to time. Thats only addressing the optical detector failure.
