A little birdie just told me that the 24 month PM for the 9.1E software is now approved for the US and will be announced to the customers in the next couple of weeks!

what would be different from a 2 year vs 1 year? Is this software only or the entire machine?

what would be different from a 2 year vs 1 year? Is this software only or the entire machine? It's machine serial # above a certain number, I don't recall what that number is and the 9.1E software. I'm pretty sure the service manual for 9.1E with a new/improved PM form is on the portal.

The PM kit hasn’t changed yet. Note, it is not a mandatory thing. It is locally determined. A facility or group can change to the two year interval, or they can continue with an annual. And if they have a mixture (below and above the cutoff S/N) they will need to see what works best for them. The current service manual (Rev 1.02.00) in on the portal. The procedure now requires pressure testing, eliminates dye solution, and changes the way some other items are measured. Plus, there is now an interval check for certain components. When they reach that point (hours or years of operation) it is recommended that they monitored for efficiency or replaced. Examples, after 13.5khrs, EP should be checked for proper operation. After 4 years, PA and PV Manometer connectors should be replaced. Basically, testing has been condensed, more observations and fewer adjustments.
