Hey everyone! I have a machine that is alarming arterial pressure during tx, the PCT says the pressure stays at 30 and keeps alarming. It passes all tests without issues. I've calibrated the arterial pressure and transducers, but it still alarms when out in the field. What else should I look at?

Inspect the roller guides on the blood pump rotor. Most likely there is at least one that's bent or broken.

Check tubing for a kinked line, clotting or clamps. Ensure the transducer protector is dry and the monitor line is open. Replace if wet. Check for clotting in the dialyzer Reduce your BFR Press and hold button to select new alarm limits

Inspect the roller guides on the blood pump rotor. Most likely there is at least one that's bent or broken. There certainly is! One is super loose and the other on the same side is a little loose as well. Thank you so much BMF!! I'll keep this open and update to make sure this was the fix after putting it back out there

Check for clotting in the dialyzer Reduce your BFR Press and hold button to select new alarm limits It's happened on several different patients over the last couple weeks. I inspected the blood pump rotor as BMF suggested and it appears that a loose/bent roller might be the culprit.
