I have 2008 T machine with 23000 hrs , having problem with conductivity comes up to 12.7 not more than that , calibrated both pumps , checked all pressures everything is good called Fresenius told me to change some boards tried that also , still the same , any clues , all the other parameters are good Temp. TMP all

Try a new bicarb pump? if it is a 45 x system, then the acid seems to be coming through and not the bicarb. Maybe a bad diaphragm on the bicarb pump or not fully stroking in dialysis? Is the oring on the bicarb wand or is it worn? using a central feed system? if so, is it plugged with dried bicarb?

Conductivity at 12.x is a classic sign of leaking or torn balance chamber membranes. I suggest doing the balance chamber membrane leak test. I feel pretty sure the membranes are leaking. Do you know if the membranes have ever been replaced? If all your machines have approximately the same number of hours, you may see a number of membrane failures at the same time.

Maybe try the checking or replacing the tubing connecting to the bicarbonate pump and suction wand.

check to see if your acid and bicarb are made up correctly and not too weak

True story here. When I took the level 1 class, I asked about the balance chamber membranes. The instructor said not to worry because they last for years and all my machines were new. I have seen the 12.x conductivity many times, and almost every time it has been the membranes. Checking the volume does not check the membranes for leaks.

I agree with dave, sounds like a b/c membrane tear. i just keep an empty bicarb jug i use to put my blue hanson and a small hose for the uf sample port line in, cut the top off an acid jug, clamp off v28's line with a metal hemostat i use specifically for this purpose. Ie: what is says in the TM

to check your bc membranes use the dribble check in the ts guide that is always a good way to tell
