Someone on here once said they had a black screen but could tell the machine was booting up and working ok just the screen was really dark or black. I had to fix this today and decided to take photos. I caused this issue myself by replacing a keyboard and unplugging as little wires as i could. 1. you will be working with 3 layers. Layer one - the keyboard = keyb and mouse =M. Possible to leave them on, but i took it all off. Layer #2 there are 4 total screws on this layer. 2 at the top and 2 hidden in those plastic tubes. To separate layers 2 and three I had to push down on the metal rectangles. They were stuck together for me
Layer 3 - finally to the treasure. The red black and white wire is unplugged from the port on the screen side. it is zip tied to the bigger wires but it still slips and unplugs

Just a note: If you have some of the older screens ( like 2010-2013 years) the old one will have more wires than the newer ones due to * i beleave* haveing a polarizer vs newer ones don't have one installed.

I have only had T's for a few years and haven't had to change a keyboard...until now. And it's like a flock of them going bad all at once. First one I did turned out EXACTLY like this...man is it time-consuming.
I'm going to try the alt-method by taking out the Pwr Logic bd and leaving all those connectors alone on the next one and see how that pans out. HAS to be quicker than going through all this!
And thanks, stuff, for posting this! As long as this took, your post made it at least easier and quicker than it could have been!
