I know Chuck has ton of Biolab experience, but I'm open to anyone who may know the answer.
Does anyone know if the older Biolab 4400 (let's say 8+ years old) had full fit membranes or did they have standard 4040 membranes with a brine seal? My newest Biolab, which is 4 years old has full fit membranes and I hate them. This unit has given me nothing but problems with cultures and unusually high product conductivity. My terrible memory tells me the older Biolabs had traditional brine sealed membranes, and I'm strongly considering bastardizing this RO and putting something other than full fit membranes in during my replacement.

Cane, Our oldest Biolab (2006) does have brine seals. We've only had to replace membranes on one other and they were full fit. It was a Marcor branded 4400, maybe that's when they made the switch?
