There’s a patient who wants to go on PD but lives “off the grid”. No normal plumbing. He had a compost toilet, and a grey water system. What options would you think of to provide a place to discharge the solution? Can you drain into a waste bag and bring somewhere to dispose? Rock pit? Is there a solution that can neutralize it, but is greywater safe?

Since used PD solution is going to be very close to being urine, I don't think it would be advisable to dispose of it in a grey water system. Could a small storm water drywell be put in?

I’m also against draining into the grey water. I was leaning rock pit “well”, but your suggestion is better in my opinion. I don’t have a ton of info on the house and property, hoping to find out more.

If they are truly off-grid, make sure they have enough power for the cycler. I would imagine the solution warmer can be a hungry little critter.
