Hi everyone,
I've got an issue with one of my 2008k2 machines. After 9 seconds of rinse I'm getting a flow inlet error and now my machine is airlocked and will not circulate water. I've changed my inlet water regulator, heat exchanger and have changed actuator board and wire. I've made sure that the float switch is working correctly as well. I've been going through the valves and they have all been ohm in the 64 range.
Any ideas?

I've found a lot of the time the cause of a flow inlet error is a bad deaeration motor and/or pump. Does the deaeration motor feel like it's running strong? Do you know when the brushes were last replaced? What about your deaeration pressure?
The other possibility is an obstruction downstream from the deaeration pump. If there is no where for the water to go, you may get a flow inlet error.

The question I have is did your flow inlet error cause your air lock or did the air lock cause your flow inlet error? Can you get it to work in other modes? I've cleared air locks before with a 60cc syringe hooked onto the low pressure side of the deare pump. I had the RO shut off recently while I was changing diasafes and it caused 3 machines to air lock which caused flow inlet errors. Once the air lock was gone everything was fine.

I have found that a good number of flow inlet errors are in actuality flow outlet errors the machine cant tell one from the other check your drain for obstructions and V30

Here's a post from the old forum.
BiomedBill posted 18 March 2019 02:18 AM I have a machine that has an intermittent flow inlet error. It's a T machine, with 25,000 hours. We've replaced dearreation motor with a new motor and pump head, replaced valve's 29,30,39,41. Replaced loading pressure regulator, float switch and replaced water inlet pressure regulator. It's always flow inlet error. It will run from 0 to 300 hours in between flow inlet errors. Any ideas what else it could be? And keep looking for that flow inlet error fix. <Val> posted 21 March 2019 03:07 AM More and more valve failures occurring around the 20k mark. my money is on balancing chamber valve. <pops> posted 26 March 2019 10:56 AM insure that your drain is not obstructed no flow out = flow inlet error Mad
disclaimer my views and no one else Razzer MarkT posted 27 March 2019 07:01 AM Hide Post As pops mentioned, first thing i look at is if the drain is all the way snapped on the the wall box connector. Our connectors are the shut off type and if they start to disconnect, it will obstruct the drain flow and cause a flow error. If it is turn it to no. Problem will be solved BiomedBill posted 30 April 2019 02:13 AM Hide Post I'm really sorry it's taken me so long to reply. I honestly forgot. It turned out to be a balancing chamber valve. Thanks all for the input. Posts: 10 | Registered: 24 October 2014 <pops> posted 30 April 2019 11:49 PM thanks for posting your fix

So I'm still working on this one, not sure why this is happening but I was checking the float switch and had a tube going from the vent tube into a graduated cylinder. After checking the cylinder was filled with water. I put the machine back into rinse and it was suctioning through the vent tube?? Any ideas on that one?

sounds like your float switch is sticking down letting too much water into hydroblock and going out vent tube

How does the drain hose connect to the wall box? Mine have the fitting that snaps onto the wall box. Its a quick release style. Sometimes they will get stuck with spent dialysate (the nasty white stuff) and that will cause my flow errors.

Try replacing #10 this can also cause intermittent flow error.
