2008k2 machine. Hours:???alot - pulled because of a flow recirc. error in heat, in rinse it is a flow error.
Following the fluid path fluid stops at V41, float switch reads water. Unplugg water inlet float switch still reads water. change float switch with new. same issue.
Connect a float switch up and leave it out of hydrochamber and manually operate it, by tipping up and down with rhythm of machine, all errors go away. Connect up float in hydro chamber flow inlet error comes back
Took out Hydrochamber to verify nothing gumming up the works, all looked good.
At this point I am thinking it is a card error due to the manual cycling of float switch everything worked fine. Its like v41 is not getting the signal to open
What says You?

If valve 41 wasn't opening, wouldn't you get a no water alarm? A flow inlet error indicates that the float switch is not dropping down and water is not being drawn out of the hydrochamber. To me, that indicates a problem with the deaeration pump/motor or an obstruction.

stuff check V30 for any drain obstruction, is v41 letting in water when you cycle the float switch also check that your deairation head is not airlocked you may have to suck some out with a syringe

Changed out v41, v29, v30, and entire balance chamber problem still there. Call Tech support they walked through on checking distribution board. Swapped hydraulics problem followed hydraulics. Drained all water from the hydro chamber debug screen still stating it has water.
Currently waiting on new distribution board and new float switch

aaahhhh progress.
Pulled a working machine up next to busted up machine swapped all cards in card cage. Problem still existed. Swapped distribution boards. No fix. Changed the float. Oh got some progress. Turns out the original float was "fixed" with a defunct one laying on the shelf.
Now the machine leaks at the tube connectors on top of the balance chamber. I focus there and find 2 valves that has the wire coating stripped of gone for like 4 inches. Tech changed just the balance chamber and left all the messed up wire harnesses.
Replaced all wire harnesses that were messed up(31,33).
Machine back working as it should now.
That was a victory worth celebrating lol

great job trouble shooting FYI for techs with high hour machines the heat sanitize cycle will erode and cause the tips of your tubing connectors to flake off plugging up plumbing and valves just be sure to add this to your problem solving usually start with problems at 25K hours 3 tees and 17 ys in fmc machine

I'll drink a virtual beer in your honor. It's tough when you can't have confidence that the parts on the shelf are good. I worked with a guy who would replace a part, and if that didn't solve the problem, he would put the used part on the shelf. I can understand not wanting to put the old part back in the machine, but it can be tough when you have a used part and don't know for sure if it's good or bad.
Thanks for posting your fix.
